Important Information
Depending on the manufacturer of your mobile phone, rooting your devise will lead to the termination of your warranty.
Requirements
- Android 9 installed on your phone (the team is working on Android 10 implementation)
- SD card for installing further ROMs
- at least class 10 for good experience
- at least 8 GB for each ROM (more than 20 GB are recommended)
App Installation
- Install a custom recovery on your phone (TWRP is recommended) [Device specific: On the Moto G5, don't use the stock ROM.]
- Install Magisk to get root rights. You can download Magisk from github releases.
- Boot into TWRP, go to ‘wipe’ > ‘advanced’, choose ‘wipe cache’, unmark all other options and choose ‘change data system’ to ext2.
- Download the most-recent build of the ABM App from github releases. Copy the apk file on your smartphone (eg. via SD card, USB or Bluetooth)
